All four couples performed a spectacular Show Dance all scoring highly with Louis and Flavia scoring 40, closely followed by Denise and Kimberley both scoring 39, with Dani and Vincent at the bottom with a score of 35. Dani and Vincent were the first couple to be voted off the final.
In a very tense final, Brucey announced that Louis and Flavia were in fact the winners of Strictly 2012! After narrowly missing out on Gold in this summer’s Olympics, Louis was over the moon to receive that coveted glitter ball trophy!

Posted in Dancing | Tagged Dancewear | Comments OffThe weeks are flying by and we’re now into the 8th week of Strictly and what a week it’s been! The rookie dancers are finally finding their feet and the competition is really hotting up with just a few more weeks to go.
Unfortunately not everyone could go through which meant losing another celebrity last night. After spending her second week at the bottom of the leader board, the public and the judges voted to put the brakes on Victoria Pendleton’s time on Strictly. It seems nerves got the better of our Olympian on Saturday night and she ended up at the bottom with a score of 21.
Last night’s results show saw her in the bottom two alongside fellow sports person Michael Vaughan. Competing in the dance off with Victoria and partner Brendan dancing the salsa to Robbie Williams’ latest single ‘Candy’ and Michael and Natalie doing the tango to ‘Bust Your Windows’. Sadly Victoria’s performance wasn’t enough to wow the judges and the night ended with a unanimous vote to save Michael.
Victoria Pendleton made a graceful exit, paying partner Brendan a special tribute and thanking the show for taking her out of her ‘comfort zone’.
With only four weeks left until the final on the 22nd December, who’s your favourite? Who do you think will be next to go? Let us know on our Facebook page or via Twitter. And if all that dancing has got your reaching for the heels and sparkly costumes be sure to check out the range of dancewear we have available.
